Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

It's not supposed to have a happy ending. It didn't really seem the type of audio to justify a happy ending. If it helps, imagine this as kinda a prequel to , at least in a continuing a theme type of way. Obviously it isn't a direct prequel since one vid features a male and the other a female.
Thanks for telling. Mhm glow effects make sense. I mean the present features the dark and depressive moments. It's silly, because I never thought about it: Why are flashbacks always black and white or have a similar dark colour schema?
I actually put a fair bit of thought into it. I was originally going to go with muted colors and a sepia tone. That's how flashbacks are usually dealt with in movies/videos. However, what I was going for demanded the exact opposite. I wanted the past to be bright and colorful while the present was the dark colors with an almost B&W feel. I tried a slight blur since movies often use a soft focus for memories, but that ended up looked like a video quality fuckup rather than an intentional thing. There were a couple other things I tried like using a light shine, a border effect, etc. Eventually I decided glow was enough. I was also influenced by the fact I wanted the sketch thing to be the only obvious effect. I wanted the idea to carry the video, not fancy effect work. So except for the sketch, I tried to make sure everything else was lowkey and non-obtrusive (besides glow, there's also numerous adjustments to saturation, brightness, and contrast). I may have gone too far with the the subtle thing though if you didn't pick up what was meant to be memories.

I think I got most of them. It might be my own fault, but the subtile memory effects distracted me because they were not existent. Which means: I often asked myself if the scene I was watching was a past memory or not and that was what bugged me and distracted me from it.

I prefer those fancy printers that automatically collate cocks for you instead of you having to manually collate cocks yourself. Just makes life easier ya know

The simple way to tell, if the guy doesn't have the sketch effect, it's a memory.
Cool vid man, I thought the middle was well like watching a lot of the same old stuff but the first and last parts where cool enough. Also the song was cool with the mood.
