I seem to only keep the ones that draw out emotions for some reason. Can be anything really from pumping adrenaline to wrist cutting drama. I don't seem to keep amv's for any other reason unless they are my own. I think the ones that draw out emotions have the highest replay value.

Whether or not they are considered quality or not isn't really answerable cause they could be short with little work done on them but such a strong concept and source/music combo that it still has the effect of an amv created through the course of a year long endeavor.

So ya, for me its not really about quality or quantity, just that specification, however, I do keep some horror amv’s that I really like. Those would probably fall into your quality ideal.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Quantity of Quality.

But then, I edit the only style I know. I can't edit "faster but worse". Well, actually, i can. in ICs. But I polish it afterwards anyway.

So... what does that mean?

not almost. That's exactly what happened. Although......both conversations are good ones. I'm the AMV assistant director for Momocon, so in order to get enough AMVs to have the AMV room open throughout the entire con, I desperately need quantity. But even so, I try to make sure that the AMVs that I download for the con measure up to a certain quality. Of course, setting the bar too high would mean that I won't have enough AMVs, so I try to find a good balance.

Nya...I speak of the collections, the AMVs that I download have to meet a level of quality... or not keep in my collection folder... Finally, I say that many people do not care about quality because they want to have a wide collection of AMVs!

Personally... when making AMVs, also prefer the quality, taking my time to do the job of editing... AMVs but mine are not of good quality, also I think that you learn with experience...

I'd be more satisfied with myself as an editor if I'd edit atleast 0.3% of the videos I plan. Quantity.

Quality, definitely. I don't really give a damn how many AMVs I've made as long as they're decent. When I first started out, I would spend about 3 hours on a video and just rush through it, and they were all crap. Now, I spend more time on them and they turn out better, though I wouldn't exactly say they were GOOD...

I have to say quality in both, in my creations and in the videos I collect. However, in my opinion quality for every creator has a subjective meaning; I've seen videos with high resolution but no emotion, some other look like crap but they're really sticky.

If I say quality, I mean the effort the author puts on the creation.
