Thanks for you work. I enjoyed it. I never got to play FF8 before my discs broke, so it was fun seeing those dancing cut scenes.

I wasn't too fond of it. It lacked any real "editing". To me, it looked like chunks of footage from the final fantasies slapped on Lady Gaga's song. It lacked any sort of sync, and there was just no atmosphere in it.
If I could suggest?
1) Read this guide, it's a great way to learn the ins and outs of editing.
2) Check out some of the AMV's on this site. After watching a lot of AMV's, you'll get a general feel for what AMV's are like.
