[Toradora!] Toraordinary Girls
Well, this is my second attempt at a video and this time I got myself into After Effects and fooled around just a little. The intro to this features a bit of Haruhi, but after that it's all Toradora. The basic premise was to outline the relationships and feelings between the 3 main girls and Takasu. It's nothing fancy, but this definitely gave me experience and I'm sure my next one will be even better. I'm particularly proud of my "Otaku TV" logo on the "guide" part haha; I may be more proud of that than the video as a whole. I had a blast making this, and I'm about to get started on my next project too (A To Aru Majutsu no Index one if you're curious). As always criticism is nice, and I hope you can enjoy!

Re: [Toradora!] Toraordinary Girls
You know, it was original concept, and I can really appreciate that.
The whole TV thing was really neat, and I loved the changing channels for different aspects of Toradora. Nice work there.
That being said...
1) The Haurhi beginning lasted WAY too long and I at first thought I was watching a different AMV.
2) Video quality could be improved upon.
3) Borders around the video were annoying to watch.
4) The film thing at the end was painfully slow and kind of flow-breaking.
5) The font used for the numbers of the channels was really blurry.
Overall, I like that you tried something different, but I think it could have been vastly improved upon. =D

Thanks for the compliments and critiques! I was worried that the beginning was a bit too much to ask. Yeah, when I finally got it all done I noticed the quality was a little off but I somehow couldn't fix it. I'll have to mess around with it and make sure its up to par for the next one. Thanks again for watching.

Re: [Toradora!] Toraordinary Girls
I feel that the idea behind this AMV was pretty cool, but it really could have benefited from some After Effects transitions. Also, The changing green number wasn't really enough to give the impression of a changing channel, so a black screen would have probably helped.
But overall, it was a ok AMV. And like Code said, its good that you tried something different. Originality has been running a little low around the org lately, so its always nice to see some new ideas .

Re: [Toradora!] Toraordinary Girls
All in all I actually liked it ;D I saw what you tried to do but it could have been improved. Nevertheless the editing lacked a bit of impact at times, that's what I felt ;O
Things that I didn't like were the green numbers on the top left corner..o.O seemed outta place somehow xD, the long Haruhi part at the beginning what Code already mentioned and the slow film tape at the end.
But I still enjoyed it, good job

Re: [Toradora!] Toraordinary Girls
nice idea to associate each character to the channel numbers, I liked that. I concur also tha the haruhi part shouldve been shortened.
good stuff nonetheless. code gave good feedback that i dun need to repeat here ;p
