Re: 2010 VCAs - General Discussion
Shall I point some people to show #2 on TWIAMVs where I talked with some of the administration about the VCAs, which included a long rant by Otohiko (check the supplemental for the rant) on the VCAs. If you haven't figured out what the VCAs actually is by now perhaps you should take a listen and hear what the administration thinks about it.

Was there even an answer to the what time zone are the dates relative to? Or is it pretty much a manual process to go from one round to the next?

Pretty sure it is a manual process. Calculating the votes to determine the finalists, setting up the web pages for voting on the finals, etc. Based on previous round start times, I don't personally expect the finals to begin until morning (in other words I don't think someone is charged with staying up overnight to officially switch on the finals right after the semi-final voting deadline is reached).BasharOfTheAges wrote:Was there even an answer to the what time zone are the dates relative to? You can't suggest something that you don't know. Do you announce your videos on akross or amvnews? I upload them, but don't announce them there.Animated wrote:Last year every Russian editor suggested amvs that came from other Russian editors.
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases.

Prolly some issue with the system just like with the semis... it's just a matter of waiting, isn't it?
