I would assume so also, for the reasong angelx03 already said, plus the manga is pretty far and still running. unless they do a souleater on us and totally change up the ending, which i'm kinda hoping they don't since the manga gets realy bada$$ in the later chapters.

@michelle: Anime is still in the begining chapters where they havn't really started much yet, so I expect the anime to pickups more love when it realy gets into the good chapters.

Current arc is pretty interesting, since its dealing with Grey's past, and in the last few episodes we find out what got him into the stripping habbit

I've been watching and reading Fairy Tail for a couple months now and I really like it, although the manga is better as one might expect. Even if one is turned off by the anime itself, I'd still recommend the manga.

The manga is definitely better. I'm not sure what exactly it is about the animation but it makes it seem much more "cartoony" for lack of a better word. Some of the fight scenes are pretty epic in the manga but in the anime it feels much less exciting.

really i thought the manga makes the characters look weird. lol.

yeah that's what I thought too at the beginning since I saw the anime first before reading the manga but I don't mind either way, they both have their pros

Yeah I am watching the anime my sister started with the manga. she doesnt care either way. lol.
