editing process video
Okay, so I've seen several amazing videos on youtube of 'photoshop speed paintings', where somebody screen captures themselves painting something in photoshop over several hours/days, then speeds it up so it lasts only a few minutes. So my question is, has anybody done something like this with AMVs? Even something that isn't sped up, perhaps just a small portion of the editing process. I know it would be taxing on a computer to both render and capture, but I would love to see a video of somebody at work!

If I knew of a good Free Screen capping program or something I'd be willing to do this for ya.

I think some people might have done it for Iron Chef vids before. They are short enough that it's feasible. For most major videos though, it would be a bit of a pain, because people can often spread the work out over weeks or even months.

I'm planing to do it since Christmas and already made some test runs and prework. I will capture myself with two webcams and I will capture my computer working area too. Than I will see what came out.StayPhrosty wrote: So my question is, has anybody done something like this with AMVs? I would provide some sort of a time code too that is displayed on the video. I don't know if I will capture everything, because... well editing is already enough to take good care of.I think some people might have done it for Iron Chef vids before. Re: editing process video
I started doing screen recordings of me doing roto in AE...but that was probably a part of why I didn't get more done. I have since given up on that and deleted most of my captures, but still have the first one
It took 2 minutes of video sped up 12x for me to get half of one frame done
