Eh I'm out of this. I try to create an amv idea with all it needs. Even if I have to watch an anime that I don't really like. Though I get most ideas for the animes that I watched lately.

Usually my ideas stem from the music. I hear a song I really like and it starts to speak to me. I decide I want to edit to it and then skim through my DVD collection (and now BD collection) and see which series speaks to me along with the song. I'll then start to see scenes and things in certain parts of the song and well, the rest is a vid.

I also from time to time rip off other vids ^^

While im just one of those bottom feeding amv makers. How i get my ideas for an anime are much different. All two and a half of the "serious" videos i have made are a result of some kinda real life happenings that result in me looking for a way to express how i feel.

For my "hear you me" video i made. Well it started with the end of a relationship for me. I was desperate to express how i felt. I have always liked jimmy eat world. it all just kinda fell together from there. I remember spending a few days simply watching the kanon anime and taking notes on scenes.. i tried to build a story in my amv's.

For my second attempt i started making the "moments" amv and got shot down halfway due to life happening. that video was a result of me paying homage to probably the most insanely beautiful girl i have ever known. of course i never had a chance with her..

And my third amv spawned from my realization of a few things in life. For one i realized that love has an expiration date. There is no such thing as happily ever after. But i also realized the one way to imortalize love is to sever it in its peak. The only way that love is ever eternal is in tragedy. After that i really wanted to make an amv with that concept. I found the song and found the anime. I then did as i always do.. ripped my heart out and threw it at the computer. Skill or not. Whether this community would hate or love it.. whether it was trash or treasure... to me it was release.. when i finished i took a deep breath and moved on. feeling the weight of that responsibility leaving my shoulders.

It may be sappy or stupid. but that is the reason to my rime its why im here. and it is why im going to stay here. Life punches and kicks. it throws you to the ground and smiles as you cry. this is my vengeance.

That and its really starting to get fun.
