Vegas 9.0 sound problems

Post by xPiikanyaa » Tue Mar 02, 2010 4:49 pm

Yeah, so when I import an mp3 file into Vegas it sounds just fine, but when I render the video the audio skips or goes weird in places. I don't know why this happens :< sometimes I pitch the audio for copyright reasons but even when I don't this still happens... does anyone know how to fix it?

what are your project and render settings (more specifically, the ones related to audio)?

You can always render the video without audio and using something like VirtualDub/Mod or Zarx264gui to import the audio.

Vegas 8 will import your .wav files in merge them into an AC_3 audio steam;
I too am finding Vegas 9 to be "not so helpful" with AC_3 [5.1 & 7.1 channel encodes]

note: my Vegas 8 encode was on Vista Home Premium 32 and
my Vegas 9 encode is with System 7 Home Premium 32.

Ah! It's okay, i found that the audio only skips when I render as a .wmv file, so I'll just save my amvs in a different format from now on. ^^
