I can't help but think of something I saw while working at a theme park last year. I witnessed an odd family of three get into my queue line to ride the ride I was operating. It was very apparent that both the husband and the son in this family had some form of Down Syndrome, while the mother looked completely normal. I was appalled and confused, but couldn't help but ponder the situation. I realized how broken this woman must be. She must have been so traumatized and betrayed by something in her life that she sought out a person who would love her unconditionally and never betray her. Not only had she married but also had a child with this mentally retarded man, bringing another like him into this world. This is similar to our Korean friend in his attitude of absolute social ineptitude and in his defiance of social standards.

I don't know. Thats just what I thought of.
