Re: Sum 41 MEP (1 Track Available)
About the quality, I tried my best to clean it, so I don't know why it ended up looking like that.
Plus, I didn't use avs scripts for editing, I used lossless.... since I had an issue with avs scripts with my personal project and I might have to start all over because they won't load into premiere no matter how many times I remake the D2Vs. Everytime I try to link the media in premiere pro, it shuts down, so I thought better to be safe than sorry and use lossless avis.
I actually can't tell any of the quality besides a little bit of the background towards the beginning, but only when I watch it on my laptop, but my eyes are not the greatest there is. It also doesn't help when my computer monitor also works as my TV, so it's not as clear as real computer monitors.
I guess I would be willing to redo it if someone could help me script the source better, since I'm still new to it.
And thanks. =3

Quality isn't bad, just said it looks weird (I never really liked the way awarpsharp and those warpers looked, I'm probably biased). It's your call if you want to redo it. Could easily PM mirko/kariudo/me/scintilla a short clip to work with and I'm guessing they would help, I would. Or you could just post it in the avisynth forum.

The original definitely had a legendary soundtrack. But the OVAs beat it in every other category imho, not the least of which is actually following the manga. But I can understand the third one turning you away from it. It wasn't the strongest of the series. However it's up to seven now and kicking ass.Rider4Z wrote:i have the first three discs but i actually got bored with it guess i just like the original better. however i dig the animation.Silk_SK wrote:If you haven't seen it I definitely recommend it. oh yeah? i may give it another chance then. i never read the manga so i wouldn't know the difference anyway. it's just the random goofiness in such a gory series i find bizarre, i guess. ...no i take that back. it's the gore i find gnarly

Well, that random goofiness is also truer to the manga .Rider4Z wrote:oh yeah? i may give it another chance then. i never read the manga so i wouldn't know the difference anyway. it's just the random goofiness in such a gory series i find bizarre, i guess. ...no i take that back. it's the gore i find gnarly

I kinda hate to say this but it looks like no one will, silk tried.
Night when you gonna start editing your track? It's kinda weird that a year (actually more...) down the road the MEP coordinator hasn't even shown anything. I don't think we've even been told whats happening for credits or an intro or if there will be any. Not trying to provoke you or anything, just trying to find out what's goin on. I'm not in a hurry to see this finish but I'm guessing most of us want to be assured this is still being taken seriously even if not I'd like to know. If not I might just full version this thing.

Re: Sum 41 MEP (1 Track Available)
I could probably take the Makes No Difference track sometime later if no one else does. But that probably won't be until after the DZ IC tournament, or after I drop out. I'd take the Lost in the Fire track but then I'd have two tracks in a row and that would be strange.

What? Birthday? BAH!Kazemon15 wrote:Bumping the thread on my birthday? Shame on you. XD JK
Happy....very belated birthday... lol
Honestly, I have far less motivation in this MEP than when I first started it, but that's not to say I don't want this finished. At first, I didn't want to actually edit anything until I knew other people would be interested so I wouldn't have a track with 8 other tracks still left to be edited and no one ever going to join.EvaFan wrote:Night when you gonna start editing your track? There have been a few times where I thought to scrap the whole project, but you guys have brought it back from the dead each time, and I really appreciate that. As much as I didn't want this question to be asked lol, it shows you care for this to be finished. Thanks. And yes, this project will finish for sure.
I will say that I am a lot busier than I was when I first started this up, and that will get in the way a little bit. I'm also now working on some close deadlines, so no one will see anything from me until at least after April.
As for Intro/Credits, I didn't have a solid plan down nor did I give it too much serious thought until the tracks were filled up and being edited. It's at that point now, so I can start thinking about that. I'm up for any ideas. I'm not too imaginative, so I wouldn't be able to do anything fancy. Probably just a quick intro and then have the credits be long enough to say each track/editor etc. Again, I'm up for any ideas so go ahead and discuss.
I didn't want anyone having multiple tracks, but we'll see what happens when it comes down to it. I wouldn't mind, I would just rather have this whole project have unique editors.Silk_SK wrote:I could probably take the Makes No Difference track sometime later if no one else does. As for the Lost In The Fire track, the original plan was to just have it cut altogether. Though, I've recently been talking with LittleAtari to get The Hell Song cut in instead. She hasn't gotten back to me in a while so I'll get in touch with her again. Will update as I get more infoz.
Thanks again all.
