The Unknown AMV Studios has a goal: promote talented editors who don't get the views they deserve. We have four places for four new members. The time's for auditioning!

PRIZES:
The 4 winners will be members of the Unknown AMV Studios. We'll pick a certain number of other entries that we like and show them in our announcement video and in a playlist on our channel.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. YOU HAVE TO BE UNKNOWN. How do you know? Well if in a month your video only receives like 50 to 1000-ish views, you're eligible to enter in the studio. If you're not sure, ask us by PM on Youtube. How many subs you have doesn't matter.
2. Your video has to be uploaded in 16:9, in 1280x720 (HD Youtube Standard) OR in 720x480 (old HD Youtube Standard), and to be at least made of high quality clips.
3. We're searching for timing, emotion and creativity in your video. Of course, it has to be fun to watch. ;P
4. You can use either anime, game cutscenes or both. No restriction except for: no hentai and no extremely gore video.
5. Use any song that you want, but use preferably rock or alternative music.
6. DON'T enter in this audition if you have no availability. You have to be sure to have time to invest in the studio.
7. Use any program that you want including Windows Movie Maker.
8. Your video has to be recent, two months ago up to now.

You will NOT be judged on the effects that you'll use, but on the presentation and how you master your program. The members of the studio will be the judges.

Well you know, before, I was choosing my members by searching through Youtube, but unknown persons can be hard to find lol. That's more an audition than a contest to me.

Lol, if you're speaking of the name, well you can think of it as "a studio of unknown persons who make amv". But you're right in a way, we're trying to make promotion for the studio. We contacted several well-known Youtube editors and asked for their help, so...let's see what will happen. But for now what we really need is new members. ^^'

That statement just doesnt sit well with me. You are looking in the wrong place in the first place if you have been searching through Youtube.
Look through the top star scale for Rouges without a studio and email them maybe.

I guess my thinking is, if your studio was good enough it would draw people on it own?

Youtube is not a good place for editors, that's true. But since it's our platform, we don't have many other choices. And you know, there's plenty of persons who make really artistic videos and get what? 100 views in 5 months? That doesn't mean they are not "good enough". That's why we created this studio: because it combines the viewers of the members and we can search together for a solution. I'm not saying that it works right now, a goal is not a goal if you already achieved it, but at least we're trying. But thanks for the comment, we'll try looking at other places.
