My kid was watching the premiere, and I watched a bit. When Rex's boss guy came out of the ship and pulled those swords I said "SOMEBODY has been watching Hellsing!"
They are damn near identical to the Vatican assassin's weapons.

YEah, I know. I wouldn't defend Rex either 
BUt I'm just saiyan, LOL. Rex is just another waste of time, animation, and money. Plus, his weapons are just too bendy and shit. It doesn't look stable or strong at all. I give it one season, two tops. Japanese anime is so much better, though. They should do what Stan Lee did with Heroman, American concept, Japanese animation, a Japamerican show.
