UPDATE - Reservation has been made for to have dinner at the RAM at 7:30PM on Friday, May 14th.
People interested in joining, please meet at the Aloft by 7:00PM and we will take a shuttle from there to the restaurant (I just called and confirmed with the Aloft that they still offer shuttling for their guests to nearby restaurants, they leave every half an hour, so please be prompt so we aren't all waiting around).
If you somehow miss us and need to walk there (it's only about a mile away) or have your own transportation, the RAM is located on:
9520 Higgins Rd.
Rosemont, IL 60018
North of the convention, about a block west of the River Rd and Higgins Rd intersection.

Hi.

So, there's this convention coming up in a couple weeks.. maybe you've heard of it.
Since I probably won't be attending the con itself, and this usually happens anyway, I was wondering who all would be interested in having dinner/gathering on Thursday, May 13th Friday, May 14th at around 7pm?

Last year we all went to RAM (http://www.theram.com/) and I think that turned out pretty good. Or we could go to Giordano's (http://www.giordanos.com/). Both places are about a mile walk north of the convention center, and if you're staying at the Aloft (or sneak into the lobby), we can probably take a free shuttle as they had done for us last year.

Let me know if yall wanna come and which one you'd prefer going to, so I can get a headcount and place a reservation.

I'm a fan of Giordano's, but really only because it's been tradition. I never went to the RAM so I can't compare
