  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I promise you if you split this AMV by song, spell check the subtitles, make the subtitles more consistent (by which I mean less distracting and not moving around, at the same height) and then encode as h264, I will individually review each song's segment and give an op (opinion) which is a review, of each segment. Until you host these encodes locally in a format my ps3 can play, nobody in their right mind will sit through this version, and they shouldn't have to. People make amvs short for a reason. I've seen AMVs that are under 10 seconds and I'd rate them higher than this one even if they sucked. You clearly put a lot of effort into this, so suck it up and make it better. Learning is a continuous process, and if you ignore people and expect THEM to adapt to YOU you will never be accepted on this site, and nobody will like you. I have personal experience because when I ignored everybody's advice, they just ignored my videos. I still have announcement threads from 2007 nobody even looked at because they saw my username. Don't do that to yourself, you have potential. I hope I didn't waste my time writing this. I look forward to your AMVs.

ok i understand what your saying and all, but there are different version on youtube....now as far as you wouldn't watch a video because of such small issues as a few moving typos and because the songs aren't divided? Okay thats the whole point, for the songs to all be connected listen to the album you'll know what im talking about (think Pink Floyd). and this should formated in a mp4 file and know for a fact ps3 can read mp4s. So i hate to say it but i can't divide the songs, and if your still uber picky then watch the youtube version but trust me i've added more into this version because of its later release, and yes i know the subtitles can be a bit annoying sometimes but trust me it doesn't take away from your overall experience.

And the reason the subs move is because the actual anime's subtitles had more text then others so it took more cropping to fix.

during your introduction when you said "musical animated movie video", I immediately thought that you didn't know what letters AMV stood for. But after seeing how long you video was, I finally understood LOL.

Anyway, I honestly couldn't watch your entire video. I just can't sit through a AMV longer than 6 or 7 minutes. And also, the AMV really didn't give me a reason to continue watching. I didn't feel that there a story or concept that compelled me to want to see how it played out. And quite frankly......If there was a story or concept so awesome that it would make me want to watch a 65 minute AMV, I might a well watch the actual anime.

I said I was willing to op all of the segments, if you want you could label them colors 1, colors 2, etc. I'd watch it if you let me choose when I want to go to the next song. I promise I'd listen to them in order. But since you won't adapt to the world, nobody adapts to you. I'm sorry that's the way life works kid. I'm an adult, I'm bigger than you, and I also don't give a shit about being nice because I'm a conservative.

the songs are divided and labeled by song and anime, so its not colors 1 or 2 its backtrack, decade, sun of nothing, ants of the sky, prequel to the sequel, virdian, white walls. and yes by all means skip through but i recommend just stomaching the whole thing, please...

anime in order are Wolf's Rain, Full metal Alchemist, Gundam wing, soul eater, naruto, beck, deathnote.

i've spent more time trying to get people to watch it then actually getting reviews... its not like you never spent almost 2 hours watching one movie...lets see you start watching it at lets say 1:43 you'll be done at what 2:48? five more minutes to write a review and your done...and trust me its worth it...but you wouldn't know unless you watch it...stop judging the book by its length, its supposed to be judged by its quality.
