Blackfield - Blackfield NYC (DVD)

My birthday present to myself Watching it was the very first thing I did on my birthday.

Things have come to circle for me with Blackfield - I originally got into them after seeing "Once" from this DVD on youtube, and ended up becoming a huge fan (although this is not surprising with Wilson's involvement). Awesome DVD, and by some irony, "Once" is played twice on it - which is entirely kickass.

Well I bought Natalie Merchant’s Leave Your Sleep album few days back. This is the latest album released by Natalie, the songs are really cool.

Asphyx - Death...The Brutal Way



Met them at mdf, bought the cd and got autographs. Would have gotten the new The Rack vinyl if I had a record player.

The other cd is some 2-disc soundtrack sampler they gave me for a movie coming out called After Party Massacre. It features music from them, Incantation and other cool bands.

Met Gorguts too but didn't get autographs...oh well
