No, fuck that. If people can read a description telling them you are aware of the over-use of colour effects and STILL moan about them, they need a face-slapping. Like I said earlier it's pretty damn awesome, and althought at first I wasn't quite digging the effects they've grown on me and they add to the style of the video. Honestly after watching the effectless video through I have to say even though I really like that (Raw style editing with this style of scene transition editing is literally what I love to do), I prefer the effects version now, and also that's the one you wanted to do, which is what REALLY counts.

Like Rrezz said this is one of the best Final Fantasy AC video out there along side Unreal and others. You took advantage of scenes unlike 99% of the other video's out there, and your quality was awesome to boot (not that I ever gave two shit's about that).

Shit after being pretty much out of this shit for like a year I have waaaaay to much free time now I'm back home for a few months. Hopefully I can find some time to get a bit more active and get back to making video's like this, fun video's that pack a nice punch. Anyway really good stuff, and stick to your convictions my brother-from-another-mother! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise about how to look at your own video. 9.5/10.

it is pretty stupid for people to be going on about the effects if they've read the desc. but what else are they gonna moan about that? Is that the secret to a perfect video, or rather, the formula to get nothing but 's and "NYSE ONE 10/10!" because mostly people are going on about it for the sake of "even though that's what you were going for, it didn't work out like you wanted it to, imo" Which is still a valid statement not to be bitched about.

Hell, let's figure out all the flaws in a video, post them in the desc. and then make a thread for nobody to post in because all their opinions have already been noted unless they're stupid.

To me, it didn't feel choppy, raw or chaotic at all. But very smooth and flowing. I really liked what I watched.

Since Im the only one that said anything negative about the effects version, Im assuming your talking about me. If so, since when in the fuck is reading the video description a requirement? I watch videos and never read the description (sometimes I do [After I watch the amv] but only for interesting videos that left me in amazement). This is not one of them. This left a bad taste.

and your quality was awesome to boot

Your credibility has shot to zero. This has to be the worst 720p encode of FF amv Ive ever seen. Im talking about the effectless version btw. It was grainy and blurry as shit. Definitely not up to the 720p standard quality. If you disagree, I'll be happy to post some snapshots. The effects version does not apply as it is spammed with countless unneeded effects that "Hide" the shitty quality. If the effects were a "experiment" to try different things, fine. But at least make *Good* looking effects. All I see is a bunch of clips blending on top of the original footage. Garbage.

The one using blending modes is bullshit. Way too spam shit all over your video.

However, I do like the song and I liked the effectless version.
Although it did get a little repetitive.

Your editing was repetitive from start to end. No creativity whatsoever. Same sync over and over.
Effects version was spammed with unneeded UGLY effects.

'Couldn't watch all of it. In the beginning, the effects looked real nice. But after that, I began to question what I was watching. Firstly the clips were going reall fast, so there was no plot to this AMV (to be expected though since this song had no lyrics.)
