With all the copyright matches on my amv channel I'm apparently still "in good standing" according to their Account Status regarding copyright. Maybe because I've never tried the "fair use" battle with them and just accepted my muted audio? My first channel has a strike against it due to an amv though... (which is why I made the second channel)

Tell that to WMG and the DMCA. lol I've been taken down several times due to audio. Adding a bump at the beginning however, will disrupt that. For some reason im rarely taken down anymore....Lucky me? XD

Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

Huh, I've never been taken down for audio and I've used songs from all the major companies that put copyright claims on the audio.

Perhaps its random then? It might make it easier to avoid if we could figure out exactly how their take-down system works... :book:

Companies have people or programs that check YT finds - easy as that.

Maybe it depends on the artist/management of said artist? I've only ever had strikes for the video footage, but have had plenty of videos disabled for the audio, (all, of course, being WMG). Then again, I've had many videos come back because they've changed their minds, then removed again. >_> It's a love/hate relationship there. But perhaps it is just luck that I've only been caught for video...*knocks on wood*.

It's hard mode though. Because knowingly misrepresenting yourself by filing a false DMCA claim is a felony.
