Problem with Export

Hey guys i have a big problem.
my project settings are 16:9 and the exportsettings are the same as the project. in the preview of the programm its also 16:9 but the final avi is 4:3 and stretched.
i dont know whats wrong, and i need a fast solution

What codec are you using?

Is the Pixel aspect ratio 1?

normal lossless its from a cam DVC-Pro cassette.
but i dont know the pixel aspect ration... its 720:576 and 16:9 so it must be like 1,4568 o.o

hm... we found a solution... we stretch the video to 16:9... now it looks normal as it should. o.o but dont punch me so hard for that solution ;_;

also in vlc if i set it 16:9 it is correct so we "made" it also in Final Cut >_> its a project for the university and we have not much time at the moment. the one guy in our group want the shit tomorrow... its 23:40 and i worked on the clip... i go crazy with the mask shit >_<

Oh god, fuck final cut. You using final cut pro 7? because we were just using it in the class I was taking and it was deciding to randomly fuck up people's ARs and shit.
