And now... For the fantabulous surprise...

THE DISNEY MEP AWARDS OF AWESOME [and the not so awesome.... Ok, there is no "no awesome", but it's just awesome]

[Note: Winning one award nullfies you from winning any others]

________________

Disney MEP MVP - This award goes to whoever contributed the most to this project [other than me, obviously], and who without, this MEP's awesome factor would be divided by zero.
Spoiler :
RIDER4Z~! She made our banner, she made our sig image [and the sequel's sig image already! How's that for motivated?!], and she's taken home the gold with her Mermaid track at cons, spreading the good word of the Disney MEP. Rider4Z, we salute you!
Disney MEP's Elite Editors - These awards go to the five editors I believed knocked their tracks out of the park, into the stands, where small children fought and beat each other to death over a stupid ball. Man, I know how to stretch a metaphor.
Spoiler :
Kazemon 15 - The Colors of the wind track was fantabulous, and had such amazing sync and "chill" factor to it, I actually requested for it to be LONGER, so it could close out the MEP with a BANG. KAzemon 15, I salute you.
Hagaren Viper - Two Worlds is probably one of the best uses of Digimon I've ever seen, if not the best. The emotion, the chill that went up and down my spine, and the beautiful footage and beautiful audio and sync meshed together to generate "awesome". Hagaren, I salute You.
Nygmatech Enterprises - Heroman + Herculeus was such a charming combination that I almost fell out of my seat laughing. And this was before I checked it out. The combination was so compelling, that I went and snagged every episode that following day and am now hooked on that anime. Nygma, I salute you.
Kireblue - The Savages track was such an ingenius combination that I can't belive nobody else thought of it! The sync, the scene selection... It was all there and more! Kireblue, I salute you.
Angelyco - Frankly, when I first saw your track, I was immediately drawn to "Ladies VS Butlers". So I checked it out. AND MY GAWD DID YOU TURN ONE HELL OF A FANSERVICE ANIME INTO BOTTLED DRAMA. Moreover, you took Mulan's thing and turned it backwards from what it was in the show. AMAZING CONCEPT. AMAZING EXECUTETION. Angelyco, I salute you.
Disney MEP :bzz:  :bzz2: - The award goes to those that had exceptional tracks, but with just that little "something" that held them back.
Spoiler :
Princess Myu: While I loved the Sailor Moon track, the lack of visual quality hurt it's overall appeal. I really hope/wish you come back next year, but with better footage, so the elegance and "love" of your track can fully and truely be understood and loved.
Minimoto: You are such an exceptional editor. New and intiutive means of editing, great sync and awesome love is put into your work. Even the quicky jobs. But I really wish you could learn how to better crop, resize and get the best footage possible. while I was able to resize it to fit the project's standards, the quality was hurt in the process. It is my desire that you work on your footage, and come back next year with something else FANTABULOUS as well as visually stunning.
Ayushima: Your princess tutu track has the best overall flow of the project. It fits so ridiculously well and has such irony/comedy/unintenional funny in it, that I was really grooving along. It's my hope that you get the hang of editing with Macs and come back next year to blow it out of the park!
The Disney MEP "A-Car-Dian" Award - This award goes to the person that best used their track to cause a car wreck on the interstate with the over the top antics, with many people cringing at the very thought of even seeing the track and having to write an elaborate essay regarding it.
Spoiler :
Jwalk0 - Seriously, you gave the project the best laughter and zanyness that it needed. The WTFness of it was fabulous, and will have us [and everyone else] reeling in laughter.
The Disney MEP :uhoh: Award - This award goes to the person that best used unintentional "symbols" in their work, something that disney is famous for getting screwed on.
Spoiler :
Kitsuer: YOU HAD SCREWING IN YOUR TRACK. YOU ALSO HAD TENTACLES GRABBING GIRLS. WTF MAN. Oh wait... It all turns out ok in the end. Uh... :uhoh:
The Disney "Dawww..." Award: This award is awarded to the person that best caused a "Dawww" moment.
Spoiler :
Amo-Chan - The Toward the Terra project used one of the original disney films, the original disney concepts and recreated it in a stunningly similar fashion. I immediately went DAWWWW when watching. :D
The Disney MEP "Best Use of Breasts" Award - Do you really need me describing this one?
Spoiler :
Kyssifur - Boob sync. LULZ. :awesome:
The Disney MEP "Daww... There's my childhood at it's best award" - Best use of making me remember my childhood.
Spoiler :
Comp & AllyKat: Comp, you made me relieve the "magic" of that spell. How it can cause miricles and pumpkin related disaststers. AllyKat, your track made me relieve that film almost perfectly. TIS SO ZANY HOW WELL THE TWO WORKED TOGETHER.
And now... The final awards....

The Disney MEP "YOU BETTER FECKING MAKE A FULL TRACK OF THIS OR YOU ARE GOING TO DIE A HORRIBLE :bzz: RELATED DEATH" AWARD!!!!!
Spoiler :
EVERYBADAH. [But me] :awesome:
Thanks for this rendition of Code's MEP awards. I hope to see you all next year in March 2011. If not. :bzz: :ying:

Who says they're unintentional? :ying:

Sadly, I won't able to watch any of this until Saturday since I'm on the road going north right now. I look forward to seeing it when I get back!

Thanks, Code. ^_^ I'm glad it turned out so well. I enjoyed working on it. =3

XD Thanks. =3 Glad you liked it!

I personally would have put Ponyo right before Colors of the Wind, since those two combos (Mononoke - Colors, Ponyo - Mermaid) are basically the Japanese version of those movies, but seeing them spread out and not next to each other gives each their own epic feel for it and made it flow with the rest nicely, so I'm glad Code didn't do what I thought and put them together. :P

I'll be sure to have some more combos to think of for next year! :amv:
