EDIT3: And the new ZarxGui's ETA makes me sad. I've been spending 3 hours encoding, and I've still got 2 to go. July 31st needs to hurry up and get here so I can buy a new rig and quit the suckaged that is 1.8 GHZ and 2 GB Ram.

Zarx lies. it'll tell you 2 hours remaining and take an extra 1.

And it's why I usually use AMV simple. If I hadn't needed to just swap the audio, I would have used simple and I would have already been done 2 hours ago. >_<

It's what the Russian editors use to encode their videos. It uses a little outdated version of H264, but in my experience, the quality is just as good as ZarxGui, takes *realtively* lower encode times and doesn't require much know-how video specs wise. Most of the org editors really don't seem to like it, but I've grown extremely fond of it. You can have deluxe "high quality" encode, the "preview" encode for beta tests and a "standard" encode for just regular footage.

Nah, it's fine. Just a little irritating that I won't be able to have the midnight release like I was planning, but it'll be fine in the end to have it in the morning instead. Assuming everything goes well with this next encode, which I'm ditching Zarx and using simple for again.

It may also be in the afternoon, depending on how crazy work is tomorrow morning. Usually, for whatever reason, Saturdays is the day when the crazies come into the office. >_>;
