I'd love to argue that, but I'd rather not derail the thread, so...

I didn't even realize until you posted but I'm in almost the exact same predicament as you! Won big at Anime Mid Atlantic ('cept in comedy), thereby disqualifying the same video I had submitted to Otakon earlier. I also contacted the Boss and hopefully I can alter my 2nd Comedy in time to a satisfying degree to replace my 1st video.

Don'cha just love racing the clock?

Well, it would have been a lot less stressful had I been more competent and read the rules more closely and have to rush out my new amv. Thank God I had about 90% of it done before the Disney MEP and my best beta tester was on the ball.

I feel ya...the entry I was gonna send to Otakon this year I sent to Anime Mid Atlantic at the pleading of a friend. I was in shock that it won and had to scramble to finish something else to submit.

Yea, that's pretty much my problem as my new videos always seem to win something before I can it to this contest :( I hope to have more time next year and finally submit something new to Otakon...

Hope you all enjoy the contest folks. I'll be sitting this one out again.

Just want to announce that I've put up a topic under AMV Conventions about an AMV Dinner on Thursday July 29th at 8:00. Feel free to respond, let me know what you think. Good luck to everyone.
