You ain't gettin' rid of me baby, I'm taking you down.Ileia wrote:I also couldn't help but notice that a fair number of the drops were former DZ studio members....it'd be a shame if Arashinome had an "accident" so close to the start of the next round...Quoted Image converted to link:

^ This. I'm not tired of editing, this particular week was just too busy for me. I think some people might lose interest if we start adding breaks and dragging it out longer. I would be up for adding another day to editing, but I don't really want a week break. I'm really enjoying this and don't want to have to wait around for the next round.Ileia wrote:Personally, I don't see why we'd need a break or how it would help. Almost all of the drops have been because of being busy during a certain time, not from editing fatigue. So we take a break for a week, then what? Someone else might have something come up then. gotegenks said "a week or so" but taking a break until he could be back puts pressure on him and from the sounds of it, he's getting enough of that elsewhere.
However, I will say that for some of the editors, we are going at a breakneck pace, especially for those with work or other commitments that take up their time. Since the suggestion of taking a break and then coming back would extend the final results date anyway, how about we add a day to each round of editing? This could ease a bit of the stress and time budgeting problems.

Now that I watched it, it sounds like something that should be in a Katamari game...if that's not where it already came from.Code wrote:Ok, why do I have elevator music in this round's files?

Ok then, after reading some comments and doing some antiquing [YAY! BOOK SHOPPING FOR AUTHORS THAT DON'T SUCK!]
I've decided to do the following.
1) Cut the number of rounds. Most specifically, I'm cutting round 4. [It was a shitty theme anyway]. I'll have an updated list on the first page shortly.
2) Add 2 days for each round to alleviate some stress.
3) Clean my room, because apparently I'm a sloppy pig.
4) Not extend the 2 day breaks any further. They will stay the same.
Hopefully, this will all help everybody in transitioning due to the number of drops.
I'll also fiddle with the number of eliminations to keep it competitive.
ALSO! MCHY, Kitsuner, Latnis and Reda: I need your user reaction points for out of 10 to finish the judging portion. I'll need them by tomorrow night, or I'll just find a statistical average that would be fair to represent the score.
