Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin

This story revolves around a girl named Maya and a time-traveling agent named Uchida. Maya is the daughter of the former headmaster, who passed away in 1999, of a private Japanese academy dedicated to the study of the occult, and Uchida is a mysterious young man who has traveled back in time from 2012.
Episode 1 was fantastic. 'Weirdest part was definitely the fact that a naked man drifted from the skies towards the earth via a beam of light. But besides that, awesome. Can't wait for more!

Episode 1 didn't greatly excite me. The undead father drama seemed pretty unremarkable as far as monster-fighting anime goes, and the characters so far have been equally unexciting.
I'll give it til the second episode to make my final judgment because the guy from the future is a wild card I'm unable to get a read on yet. It could quite possibly redeem the cliches and make it enjoyable.

Also, this screenshot proved that this anime has potential to go where other anime fear to tread.

sounds too much like "Princess 69" where "she" runs the school with some perverted theme behind it.

No perverted themes in this (closest thing to something perverted was the image Ishbalan posted there.) The main character is staying there to take down evil spirits while her hatred for the occult continues to boil.
@Ishbalan: Very much so. I was a little surprised at that myself.

this series actually got the highest ratings on first ep previews over at anime news network, havnt had a chance to watch the whole first ep but after skimming it i think i'll definitely check out the first few eps at least
