How can I put a "video in a video"
Well im tying to create my own AMV and I saw this effect and I say OMG I LOVE IT...
The effect is like, put a video in a video, hmm example: I saw an outdoor on a video, and I want to put a video in that outdoor, or , I say the moon and I want to put a video of a horse (example justt examplee) in the moon (LUNATIC HORSES).
Oh look! I just found a video that shows the exactly effect!

Do you notice the woman with pinky hair in the moon and the outdoors... THATS IT!!
Thank you sooooo much!

Ooh, I used to love that video.
What you do is go to Event pan/crop on a clip, check the box on the bottom-left that says "mask", and outline whatever it is you want to cut out with the pen tool. If you want it to have the soft edges like in the part you specified, you can give it some feather out. The thing about masking though, is if you want to mask out a moving object you'll have to create a new mask for every different frame, so it can take a while.
This is assuming, of course, you have Vegas Pro, because the movie studio versions don't have that capability

If you need any help, just google "vegas bezier mask". Or you can message me, I've done a LOT of masking - and I've already MADE all the mistakes. Or hope I've made them all.

Re: How can I put a "video in a video"
Oh Guys First Thing : Thank You VERY MUCH to help me and the others, I am a Brazilian and my English is a crap, sorry for the bad english.
Second Thing: Just a little question, when I put those videos in videos errr they just sloww down the video, like LAG, u know... Is it normal?
Third thing: Can anyone make a tutorial how to put a video on a video, like, all those "hard parts" togheter, hm example:
Mask out a moving object, and do the right way? How to use pan/crop.
I put on that little thing bar called Search: Tutorials/Guide, and I found nothing, just the "Idiot Guide to Vegas"
...
Thank u guys very much!

If your watching the preview - yes it can. The more work it has to do, the more it will slow down. A rendered clip should play normal.iTzMeDeaD wrote:Oh Guys First Thing : Thank You VERY MUCH to help me and the others, I am a Brazilian and my English is a crap, sorry for the bad english.

For preview, you can make a selection of a given part and press Shift + B, it saves that part in RAM and it should play it smoothly in preview window.
