That was in Pro two or three years ago. There's a reason #60 is titled "worlds *second* worst lipsync"Sephiroth wrote:I'm really tempted to o a vid to assshole by dennis leary after number 60 made me gouge my eyes out.

Really appreciate everyone doing reviews, I hope to get mine out soon, although I did have a chuckle at Cenit's:

What's the point of mentioning which editor you think did a video if you censor out the name? Why not just cut the sentence altogether?

Probably her own notes that she edited later to exclude the name. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Though, in one case, it WAS by "CENSORED".

Considering the comments from others I think it'd be interesting to read the 'flames' myself. This is the first time I remember this much participation on video impressions across the board. I like it. Lets keep it up

Re: AWA Pro video discussion
Because the contest is supposed to be blind and I think that's the most fun part of it, seeing a video and not knowing who made it but trying to use your knowledge of peoples editing styles to guess who made which video. Yes Ileia's correct anything I put in brackets were things that were in my notes but I removed before posting. When the contest is over I plan on looking through the list and seeing how many I got right, but I don't think I should post who I think did which video, even if I'm wrong it would still go against the whole blindness thing. As for not taking out the whole sentence I just went through my notes quickly and tried to get rid of names, categories, and any instance I noticed myself going off on a non-vid centric rant or bashing the video without saying anything constructive. I didn't bother to rewatch anything to give people feedback or rewording my sentences, just remove what I thought shouldn't be posted. Maybe if I enter next year I'll keep in mind when making the notes that I might end up posting them publicly.Kitsuner wrote:What's the point of mentioning which editor you think did a video if you censor out the name? Re: AWA Pro video discussion
There have been other random dance amvs ... better edited as well. Thats all. It was ok but there is really nothing about it ... just another dance amv showing nothing more than the other 999.999Kristyrat wrote:Really appreciate everyone doing reviews, I hope to get mine out soon, although I did have a chuckle at Cenit's:

Like I said in my comments, that video is all lyrically driven. If the song wasn't about gonorrhea, then the video would indeed just be another random dance scene video.

Re: AWA Pro video discussion
Well, I took a lot of notes on paper, but I really don't feel like typing 3/5 50+ times, so I'll just highlight the ones that I thought did an above average job and a below average job.
Everything else literally got a 3/5, with the comments "needs more work/focus".
