Because the contest is supposed to be blind and I think that's the most fun part of it, seeing a video and not knowing who made it but trying to use your knowledge of peoples editing styles to guess who made which video.

Doesn't guessing who made the video kill the whole blind judging part of the process???

Anyway, i'm done with nominations and am eagerly awaiting to see which vids are finalists in which category.

What is everyone's sudden problem on this thread with guessing who made what? It's not like we actually find out until the voting's done anyway.

Burning Leaves is the one who had guesses, so clearly she didn't have a problem with it.

In the past the editor guessing game has been held (at least publicly) after the voting closes (or after nominations closes if the video in question didn't make it to the finals). I've even held off the public reveal a few days to allow the festivities to play out. I'm fine with whatever.
