I don't really think so, I'm not going to judge it any differently because I think 'so and so' made this. I've seen far too many amvs in the past few years (though was really slacking off this year) so I've come to recognize different peoples style, even if I didn't write them down doesn't mean I still wouldn't think 'so and so' made the video. For some people it's like seeing Tim Burtons directing style, you can look at a preview of a movie and not have to read the credits to know he had something to do with it. Also I found guessing almost more fun than watching the videos themselves, like using all the useless knowledge I've gathered about people and their editing through the years to solve a little puzzle.

As for the STD vid I think it went on more than just the song. The person could have just picked a random anime and showed people saying hey look we all have the clap.. But instead I think the editor took that opportunity to satire the typical dance video, so I found it to be not just a well edited video put to an amusing song but something that pokes fun of parts of the editing community as well.

Effect at the beginning was nice, though the frame was annoying. Not sure the audio style fit as well as the lyrics did. Has some good editing techniques and understands scene/audio changes. Rather generic romance I feel. Enjoyable, but not exceptional.

This feels like something for Brad's cool shit MEP thing. Animation was fairly well done and synced to the audio but overall there wasn't really any substance to it. Just an exhibition of the creator's talent. Kinda artsy fagish.

Clean audio and beat sync. Started out as a sort of horror feel but fell short on that. Dissapointed with the abrupt ending, started to get into it and then nothing. Can't really pinpoint a category for this.

German and action style = cool? This doesn't really feel any different then any other DN video I've seen. The editing was spot on with beat sync, though the random 'effects' and transitions and the heavy use of the op/ed clips was rather annoying. This could have been an interesting horror video, but in the end there is no real story other then spoiler.

I'm not really sure what to think about this one. I do know that if I ignore the opener and ender of the video I would have liked this more. The meat of the editing and the story was enjoyable. I thought the style was a little overdone and could have been toned down slightly. The use of art and not scenes really kind of turned me off at the begining. Very nice dramatic action.

Can't call this live action, but it doesn't use traditional anime either. I like the surealistic mood I got from the audio which played well with the source material. Things got more hecktic as the song and video progressed.

You know, if you look past the joke this video is rather creepy. The song is suppose to be a sweet love ballad and yet it's put to a video where you're looking through the eyes of the singer as he just sits there and watches her sleep.

I've never seen angel beats except small bits and pieces, so I feel I'm lacking something here. Not a lot, but something. Rather uplifting song and an attempt at an uplifiting video but I'm not sure it got there.

You know, I had a very similar idea after I the credits stopped rolling when I was avatar. I loved FernGully as a kid and can see where this idea came from. Though I think this trailer still fell into the standard pitfalls I see happen all the time with trailers. Interesting idea, but poorly executed. Thanks for reminding me of the smog song tho, it's my favorite bad guy theme!

If it wasn't for the labeling thing this year I would have expected this to be a hentai video at first glance. Sadly I find this to be a very generic dancing video that doesn't have much of a beat to it. Apparently almost all of anime babes are lesbians or at least bi according to this video.

Not too many steamboy videos I see very often. Beyond the obviousness of the song/source pairing this was a rather fun ride. Good sync both internal and not. Basically a story refresher. Fun watch.

I've seen this similar style of video done before. Pairing a rich dramatic song with action footage in order to show the drama of war. This was executed very well. Feels like I've seen all of the show though. The abrupt ending was a little sad cuz' I wanted to see more.

I feel like I've seen this video before. Maybe not this exact video but something like it. The only thing I don't like is the random scenes of al/ed whatever (never seen the movie) and the odd beast fight. Would have been nicer to have an interesting montage of more geman fighting. Though there might not have been enough source.

Nice vehicle for a poem. However with the text there it felt as if the source in the background was really just playing second fiddle to the text. I would love to see a version without the text as I feel the footage alone is enough to give this feeling that the poem described.

if it wasn't for the video co-pilot stuff I think would have been an extremely enjoyable video to me. The editing was fast and keen and the mood was playful and fun. Even some of the key'ed transitions was nicely done. But that extra effects stuff just didn't need to be there, it didn't really add to the video or the mood.

Very generic premier pro titles. The movement between clips was nice. Though the ending was quite anti-climactic. By the end after the big fight it just seemed like you were placing random scenes together. Started out pretty good but didn't end strong.

This was an overload for the senses. Upon first glance this apears to be just a random exhibition of movies, but once you look deeper there is a connection to each scene through the music. The sync was spot on and enjoyable throughout. The jump cuts, internal and external sync, and transitions all blended together to produce a very enjoyable experience. More then just syncing to the mood, tone, and beat of the music everyone has a flow as well. While there may not be a story here, it is still quite enjoyable.

When I see a perfect blue video I usually expect it to go this route. I've seen quite a few and they all seem to follow this same story and progression. To really catch my interest I expect the video to do something new, unexpected, and take the story to the next level. While this didn't exactly do that, it was a little refreshing to see a lighter take on this story as this video felt to me.

At first I was going to yell about the lack of a dansen dance, but then I saw it. So now I'm perturbed by the lack of any sexual dansen going on here! I know it's out there, I have a shit ton of it saved from when I was grabbing material for my vid last year. But the thing that most dissapointed me about this is the complete lack of proper pacing. This song is so fast paced and there was hardly a scene that matched it! Lots of long shots and just... where's my beat sync?!?!?

1: guys being perverts, maybe supposed to be funny? I didn't laugh or smile but at least the editing was ok.

2: chick lip syncing the majority of the song. No substance. I wanted to find out who this chick was talking to so I could just yell at em and tell em to sleep with her already! good lip syncing though.

3: I wish i had seen the show before hand so i know who these chars are, even if the story might not have anything to do with it. Also I'm glad I didn't have to wait through 10+ videos to find one with substance and good editing. Only thing i'm not gelling with is the faded white haze around the borders of the video towards the middle and the white borders around the masked sections. I thought the effect used the in the beginning was a nice touch though.

4: Man, i wonder how this editor managed to render all that glass >.>

5: Great video. Feels like there should be so much more which is disappointing.

6: too much stuff going on to try and figure out what the hell is going on. I can't tell if there's an effect being thrown on top of the video or not cause something looks off. Maybe the editor zoomed in to get rid of subtitles or watermark? Then the effects the editor used are very distracting to a very visually unorganized video. Some of them I can't tell if they are part of the anime or not but either way, it doesn't look good IMO. I think if the editor slow down a tad and didn't cut on every single beat, I might have enjoyed it a little more and maybe figured out what was going on.

7: The introduction needed to flow into the main video better IMO (like the end) but other then that it's a solid video. I think the overlays and masks could've been toned down however but not knowing the source material I can't say that would be a good thing or not.

8: Well, if that's all, terrible video.

9: some frame blending issues are distracting. lip syncing should either finish a verse or don't do it. doesn't make sense to me when goku says something then the lyrics are still going and his mouth doesn't move. I think using Goku as "Capt Hammer" was a good comparison. I actually enjoyed this but i think it could've been a lot better if the editor went with PSA type style for the video.

10: Great mood. I didn't like the movie but this makes it watchable. I don't like the lipflap though. some of it can't be avoided but there were a few scenes I thought could've been done without it. Other then that, Solid editing, solid video.

11: somehow i think the person who did #2 did this one also cause it;s just as pointless and the editing has no noticeable rhythm or coherence. every time her mouth moves I hear "shut up and sleep with me" or, towards the end, "shut up and end already, it's not remotely funny"

12: Are we organizing the videos so that the anime used is rotated? #2 and #11 used the same, and now #3 and this one are the same. Anyway, solid editing. Cute, I enjoyed it.

13: Started out great, I was watching a Honey and Clover video then 5389754834 other shows entered (exaggerating a little but you get my point right?). Would've been better if it was one show. While watching this I can't see any story or anything that connects the scenes and edits together. It feels very random to me when the song would make for a very good story driven video. The basic editing was good but other then that, I didn't enjoy it, too random feeling to me.

14: im at a loss here. I think the editing was good and obvious the pairing was good but it just didn't seem to connect to me. At no time while watching the video/trailer did I feel like I was actually watching something real. I think a successful trailer needs to make the viewer think it's actually something out there and not just a mix of two different things.

15: i can't tell if this is supposed to be a comedy or something serious. Its not funny and the video is just boring otherwise. nothing is happening. looks like the editor just took scenes from the show and put them to poker face to get a laugh out of some people and maybe made a few cuts here and there that have absolutely no rhythm or coherence.

16: this video has the same look as the #6, same editor? Looks zoomed in. I still don't get wtf is going on. Nothing makes sense. Random scenes but at least it's not a cut on every beat.

17: first off the bat, the static dirt border is way too static. if it changed a little over time or something but just sitting there, not good. It drowns out the rest of the frame as well and makes what looks like is supposed to be a dark video way too bright. lip syncing is terrible and pointless. I don't get whats going on in the video either. I can see there's a story but who are these people and why should I care? The effects and flashes are distracting and not well done. Could've been a lot better without any effects IMO.

18: The overlays are too much and they repeat. the whole phone thing doesn't make any sense and WAY TOO LONG. I think the editor wanted to provide some background for when the second half of the video kicks in. The second half is way better, suspenseful and creepy. It's uncomfortable to watch. Other then the first half, its edited somewhat well, could use some work but the emotional impact is there. By the time it's over, you wish the first half didn't exist because it was so boring and pointless compared to the higher emotional second half.

19: After the first 5 seconds I sighed. I knew exactly where this was going. Completely random and isn't even remotely funny. has that same zoomed in look to it as a few of the other videos. Lip sync is terrible. Editing has no rhythm or coherence. I don't understand what's going on either... just a bunch of lip syncing? Feels like a convention video someone would submit to get the yaoi crowd to squeal.

20: uses anime intros and outros. I'm not a huge fan of these kind of videos because it feels like a cop-out. However, instead of being just a random dance video, this video has a purpose and a clear concept to it: anime chicks singing they have the clap, lol. I can't say i laughed out loud but I did give a little giggle here and there. Other then that, solid editing. I though some of the lip sync felt forced and rushed also.

21: this video suffers from what I call "lets cut on every beat" syndrome. While parts of the video don't do this, the majority does and it makes it difficult to stay focused on whats going on. I've seen the movie before but this video is so over the place I can't keep focused. I thought there was one really good part towards the end when he's caring the chick through the air. I thought the editing there was great and the scene's flowed very well together and it all worked out great, then it fell apart again.

22: the first 3rd looks like the CatShitOne trailer put to Queen which makes me think the editor just put the whole episode on the timeline then made a cut and moved it down to the next cut. Not entirely impressed but at least it was edited well so that the cuts between scenes match the music and it was enjoyable to watch.

23: some parts of this video were spot on whiles others were very off. There were times when I was just waiting for something to happen but then others were my eyes were glued and couldn't wait to see what the editor had next on the timeline. In the end, it was hard to follow and hard to see exactly what the editor was trying to accomplish. Was this just a retelling of the story? I'm not sure, I couldn't tell because it didn't seem to flow very well between segments. Was it a different retelling or the editor's own idea? Maybe. I like to use the story of the anime and then change it slightly to fit my needs but with this video i just couldn't see what was going on and what the ultimate concept was.

24: this was disturbingly funny. well edited. I think some scenes could've been replaced with something better though, but for the most part i was alright. Maybe a little too long also, thinking it could've benefited from an audio cut.

25: Well edited but its one of those videos I think you need to know the source to understand whats going on. I don't really know what to say about it, it was good but not great.

26: lipsync was bad and a deal killer for me. Ruined the whole video. I think being cofined to one source was also something that made this video sub par. I think someone could be very creative with this song. This video wasn't creative at all, just kinda there.

27: well edited, didn't go all over the place. No "cutting on every beat" syndrome. I like it. you can see whats going on and every scene flows with the next. great use of internal sync. great action video.

28: this isn't an amv, it's a video that's supposed to simulate a condition and shows a character experiencing it. That said, it could've been so much better and more creative.

29: frame blending? I liked the concept, but it wasn't funny, it was mostly just dark knight edited to a song, nothing special or funny. I think if it was cut in a way that wasn';t just a from begining to end replay of DK, it would've been better.

30: The text is terrible. Don't get rid of it but don't make it so bland and stupid looking. I know there's supposed to be some kind of story going on here but I think half the text didn't need to be there. The concept was amazing but it needed a little extra to make the whole thing amazing. Good editing but the presentation killed it for me. Still one of the better videos.

31: this is a cool video. I really dig this one. Very good editing and use of effects. The flow is superb and just fun to watch and see what happens next. The bob marly segment was awesome. mad props to the editor who made this one. I watched a few episodes of the show but stopped, this makes me want to pick it up again.

32: this is like watching an 80s tv action show. it's enjoyable, and cool. Editing was nice and overall feel was good. Only problem is that it wasn't spectacular. Not a bad video to have listed in your org profile though.

33: I thought this video was going to be about someone you look up to and admire and strive to be who they are. I was disappointed but thats not bad. It's a video about what I would assume is a side character in the show (still need to watch ippo >.<). The beginning of the video presents a different story so i think that should've been changed. If i had a better idea about what the video was about I would've been less confused during the first half. the boxing scenes were a little too slow at, needed some more cuts in there to keep it interesting. Towards the end they were perfect, great editing. The end was too long. It looks like the editor was trying to capture an emotional moment but after a while It was boring and I just wanted it to go to the next segement. The end also goes right back to the beginning. While it's a nice tender moment between the two, who the hell is the kid? what's his relation? why is he passing him the batton? doesn't make sense. Overall it was an enjoyable and good video but I'm confused about what the video is really about.

34: -_- here we go again. makes no sense. chick is sleeping and Russian is on the screen. the intentional decoding errors in the beginning or did i download a bad encode? Random face cutting away thing? Almost feels like someone wants to create a "pointless video award" so they can win by flooding it with their own videos.

35: i don't get it. edited well but i just don't get it.

36: i have a slight inclination that this video is supposed to make fun on drama videos. If it was meant to be serious then the editor should've omitted the beginning :A shit. The editing itself didn't seem very solid either and the scene selection was used too literally. If it was meant to be satire then it failed. cause it wasn't funny or presented in a way that it would be. kinda feels like if it was a joke then it would only be an inside joke between a small group of people.

37: great video. There was only one part that i was confused on that i guess was a flash back? other then that I really liked it. I could follow what was happening and it was just great.

38: aspect ratio and the whole square thing was terrible. could've been better with just simple edits. Didn't enjoy it at all.

39: It's an action video. Feels like a replay of the series with no clear concept. Editing was OK and it was easy to follow but it was nothing spectacular.

40. OK, i'm just not going to comment on these videos anymore. see my reviews for the other "Sleeping With Stupid Chick" videos. The only thing I'll mention is that at least this one is edted and has some kind of concept but only using the one source makes it completely boring and pointless like the other ones.

41: boring. i think it would've been funnier if it was the anime instead of the LA. then again if it was anything like this video it would've been boring anyway. can't win -_-

42: AMV Hell type videos are the worst things someone can make, they show no editing skill and they are ridiculously stupid and 90% of the time not in the least bit funny. They are purely based on shock value and swarm mentality (can't think of the term but when one personal laughs, everyone else does). I thought the first segment (bewitched) by itself was better then the rest of the video. It was perfect. I wanted to skip this after the first segment but I wouldn't be a good judge if I had.

43: Editing was spotty. I thought the video was out of sync for the first minute of the video but it wasn't. The flow of the video was kinda hectic didn't know what was happening. Just random scenes that matched the lyrics.

44: feels like it should be an 80s flick instead of mid 2000's. If the video was presented in a way that it looked a little older (saturated and some grain) i think it would've fit better. Editing was decent, it was at least somewhat enjoyable to watch, no real problems there, just presentation.

45: good editing. Even if you'd seen the show you wouldn't know what the hell was going on, so i wont necessarily hold that against it. Nothing spectacular about this video, nothing bad, just decent.

46: when i saw the video and audio combination i was excited but then about 30 seconds into the video I was disappointed. parts of this video has the "cut on every note" syndrom i hate. It also has too many really fast fades (OH SHIT THIS IS COMING FROM MR FADES HIMSELF?!?!?). Overall the video has a great combination of anime and song, but it's all over the place and really doesn't need to be so fast. SLOW THE FUCK DOWN! By the time a verse is over, there's been 100 cuts and you don't know what the hell just happened. You don't have to fit the whole damn series into the video. I have to make video to this combination now, sorry to whoever made it. No hard feelings?

47: uhg, mixing aspect ratios. ruins it. The concept was good and it works out but if you can't get the technical thing right, then stop, fix the tech stuff, and then continue. There's nothing that annoys me more (except amv hell type videos) then seeing a video that has potential with technical problems. I'm almost willing to look past the tech issues because the mix of the new and old stuff is only minor but I can't. The lipsycing was kinda iffy to me, but I think it worked out ok. overall I enjoyed it. The video is what it says it is, I just can't look past the aspect ratio thing. Maybe i'll block it out when it comes to voting because i really did enjoy the video.

48: Aspect ratio. I think i thought i saw a story or something in there but throughout the video I keep hitting a wall where that doesn't make sense. In the end it feels random but decently edited. Nothing memorable though.

49: yaoi video? might not have always presented itself as one but it is. might work for a con, but not for me. Editing was decent, had a really nice flow for most of the video minus some of the "effects" transitions. The effects in general looked ok but the white borders along the masks were annoying. think of something else. Lip syncing was terrible.

50: random people in a Godzilla video, distracting. I think if you are going to a Godzilla movie, you should be more creative then using a song with the work "fuck" in it every other line and random scenes of Godzilla shooting and fighting shit.

51: aspect ratio? editing was good, spasy but same with the last video, it feels like it's just an action flick set to obscene music. I would much rather see a video using crank/crank2 to a song like Motley Crew's Kick Start My Heart (*cough*)

52: aspect ratio? did people screw up or did the coordinator screw up when converting? I didn't like most of the text. needed some work IMO. The editing was otherwise pretty decent. I was following the video and it flowed well. The end didn't make sense compared to the rest of the video, feels like the editor gave up and just threw in random shit to fill up the timeline.

53: Like the other video simulating a condition, I don't consider this an AMV. However I think it does a good job of giving you an insight as to what it would be like. I know you can say that it sounds too fake some of the things they are saying in the audio but it only sounds fake because it is. This is what people actually hear inside their head. Crazy shit. I thought it was a unique idea.

54: The concept could've been executed a lot better. Less "effects" and whats with the random masking cicles and squares in the beginning? There could've been a lot more creativity put into this video but because of the lack of it, it wasn't funny or really that enjoyable. I thought the basic editing was good but that's it.

55: This is a masterpiece of visual and audio perfection. Does there have to be a story? no. Is there a concept? Sure. This video is so easy to look at and just enjoy it's ridiculous. It's like i'm actually watching what i'm listening to. Every beat, every riff, every tone has something on screen that it correlates to and it's in no way distracting or out of place. Every cut and every scene is made to be perfect. I think the only thing that needs to be fixed is the text on the screen. get rid of it so I can enjoy this masterpiece of editing without anything in the way between my eyes and the raw video on the tv. Maybe calling it a masterpiece is too much but if it was my own work, I could feel comfortable retiring and never opening an editing program again after making this.

56: This is a dark romance video. it could've bee a lot better IMO. The editing was good but the overall emotion I thought I was supposed to feel by the end of the video just want there, the video just didn't click right.

57: uhg, AMV Hell type video. 8 minutes of crap. not even going to say anything else.

58: Editing was decent and i guess it does what it's supposed to do. Not a fan of the "effects" but i guess it's there to emulate euphoria. the lip syncing was lame. I also think I saw some interlacing.

59: caramel dancing to porn. doesn't work as well as a dance video would've been. Also aspect ratio issues with some scenes?

60: troll video. A still frame and an annoying noise isn't a music video.
