Vdub wont open

Im trying to give my friend virtualdubmod so he can convert his files and whatnot, but, it refuses to open. Even after installing all of amvapp. any takers?

http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/
VDubMod is old and outdated. Get the latest VDub and use that instead.
