Ffdshow help

I'm having problems with my audio, it works fine if I use speakers but when I use my headphones if I move the audio gets really low and doesn't sound right. I know it's not a problem with the headphones, sound card or anything like that, it's definitely a problem with ffdshow because I've had the same problem on two other computers after I installed ffdshow. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the settings or I installed it wrong but I still have the problem if I uninstall ffdshow.

How many channel does the audio have? If it's stereo there might be something wrong, but if it's multichannel then I'm not all that surprised...
