This. It was explained a bit more explicitly when Sasuke was fighting with Danzo, but basically using Izanagi blinds you in that eye. It also takes wood element control to use or something.

Kishimoto will release a new project meanwhile he
draws Naruto! Fuckin awsm, Niizuma(Bakuman) is based on him for sure.
For me is not a great author but that's an admirable job.
