Eh... right... eh... yeah, seems like I'm also still awaiting the FTP details... rather anxiously. Eh... yup. So, did any of you get the info yet?

Is MPEG-2 really the only format allowed? I've been trying to convert my entries into MPEG-2; one comes out with really poor quality, the other one refuses to convert at all...but then again, I'm not really that versed in doing format conversions. If the coordinators could do the conversions, irregardless of the final quality, I'd be willing to take that risk.

You shouldn't convert at all, you should encode to mpeg-2 from your lossless renders ;x

As much as I would have liked to have done that, my lossless renders were deleted a couple months ago (3-5GB lossless renders take up space that could be better used for raw footage for editing current projects).Nya-chan Production wrote:You shouldn't convert at all, you should encode to mpeg-2 from your lossless renders ;x

Then you'll just have to convert the encodes to lossless avi (avisynth) and then encode those to mpeg-2 with higher bitrate and pray for some luck ;x
