i don't see tv sim on the Org at all unless it's to ACTUALLY simulate a tv in a video.

AMV world is not all around the org , and the plug is not use to simulated a tv, most of the times is just there.

have you ever used wmm? it sucks. that goes for raw editing too. not that you can't make anything good out of it, but it's not very fun, imo.

Actually I discovered AMVs through wmm but by that time I didn't know that what I was making was an AMV. Obviously you're limited in it cause you cant mask. And camera movements, effects... But even still there are WMM users

I really dont consider windows shit maker as a bad editing software because it is maskless, it actually have "effects" even preset zooms , you even can add tittles... but it is totally lineal, at least older versions, if you want to go back and change something, it will be hell, an inestable software too, errors/frames, and slow, so no, thank you, it sucks. badly.

No, badly done effects = bad. I have never seen anyone complain about use of effects unless they were badly done. I don't think that belongs in a list of taboos at all.

Not sure what you mean. You mean if the effects are done good then it doesnt matter how they are used ? I think effects should have a good concept no matter how good they look.
