Your video, "Me, Myself, and Me" won its category (if I remember correctly).
It at least made runner-up because it was playing as I came into the AMV Award spotlight.
It did indeed win.
Yup, you got first, I got second in Upbeat/Fun. Honestly, that entire category was full of really really good contenders - much, much better than I anticipated. Best in Show also came from our category, btw.

What was your video? Is it available? I'd love to see it.

It is the Code Geass "One Day More" video that won the Drama category at Katsucon. (and Falcon kinda castigated me a bit in my LJ for critisizing it at the time. 8-) )

Best in Show was "I Love The Anime World", which also won Best in Show at Katsucon.

Since I was determined that I wasn't going to vote for videos that won elsewhere (at least, as far as I knew), I would have voted for yours, which was really the best of the rest.

Yeah, it's up. Seen Code Geass?

Oh, I'd say castigated is a bit of a strong word. :) I just wanted to make sure my video was judged with its syncing done properly - though, given what happened to some of the other videos during the Katsucon contest, I'm still glad that the sync being off was my only real concern.

That's why I put the smiley :D

Yeah, the people in the Action category were royally screwed by technical issues, and the Best In Show video almost didn't get shown because those running the room ended the contest early.

Any word on comedy or romance?

Nice to know my video was royally screwed. And I had high hopes for it too. Oh well.

I already know my video didn't win anything, but can anyone who was there tell me how it went over with the crowd?

Wow, I was really surprised as to which of my two videos got in. I thought for sure it was gonna be my BeBop video and not my Avatar one. Shame, but not too much of a shame. Still had a lot of fun, even though I didn't win anything. Congrats to all those that did!
