but is the quality of Alpha3.11, 3.20, 3.4.4, Xvid, HQA Div5 & Div6,
Divx 4.01 and Divx 5 files all being different sizes really making that
much of an impact when you view it over Mpeg-1?

wmf and wma are best left to the Real Video people who invented it.

asf and viv are of such poor quality that I can not even watch them!

Q: if I were to make an AMV, which would be for curiousity and not
talant:
1) how large ( minutes long and of what size 680 X 360 maybe )
would it need to be?
2) is 48k joint-stereo ok?
and
3) is it copy-right(able) dependant stuff allowed ( from a tv series )
4) who would I need to know to host it for me?

because I have sceen Happy Fun Time and other videos, yet me thinks
that mine could be a little more memorable

ok, I'll do it.

cassette in tape recorder,
local college radio,
hit record and wait for a song where the video will be more fun than the song!

start searching for video clips and `kewl, got the song
