So how do I do that effect you see in the corners?

If you are using Sony Vegas you can just take the 'Elliptical Transparent to Black' circle found under 'media generators - color gradient' to create the black in the corners. Put it on the layer over your footage. You may have to adjust it a little. Then cut it into really small pieces and adjust opacity to create the flicker effect. If you have a plugin like newblue you may be able to find an effect that can create the flicker. I'm not sure what spicemaster does so idk if there's anything similar in there.

NewBlue might do that but as far as I know spicemaster doesn't. I just got it and it's basically just some cool transitions and fancy cookie cutters that spin and have borders and stuff xD

I agree tbh. I have spicemaster but I don't often use it because it's so cliche
