what do i need to play VCDs?

do i need a divx (is that it?) program for my comp or what? or is there i VCD player-thing that i have to get off of ebay or something? some help would be nice!

Most DVD software packages can play VCDs.

Media Player will also do it, all you have to do is look for a large .dat file on the disc, drag that into your media player window.

A VCD is just a mpeg1 file that conforms to certain specs.
