Doesn't really matter which one you use in most cases. Go with what you're more familiar with

They've introduced a new version of DVD Decrypter that handles the ever-growing number of encryption schemes it used to not be able to handle? And BRDs?

I used to use a combo of anyDVD and DVDDecrypter but recently even that combo fails on many of the DVDs that have come out. Yet DVDFab works fine and also allows for BRD ripping. So I've switched.

I use DVDFab for pretty much anything, but sometimes it fails on BDs, so I have to use MakeMKV for some of those. :\

I usually try DVDDecrypter first because I like some of it's ripping settings, but if it fails (or if I want to rip a BD) I use DVDFab.

SmartRipper first, then DVD Decrypter, and if both of those fail, DVD Fab. And if even that fails, I'll use ddrescue or ImgBurn and isodecrypter.

DVD Decrypter, or I decide the disk isn't worth ripping. For BD I'd be lazy and use AnyDVDHD and eac3to right off the disk >_>
