.. I used to edit a lot a couple years ago.. & I purchased two video converters in the time that I made amvs.. & I remember them being relatively easy to find & not incredibly expensive.. Now, seems to be a different story.. Anyway, if anyone knows of a good vob to avi video converter & mentioned in this thread.. That would be awesome & I would be grateful! I've been scouring the internet trying to find a video converter, & I can't seem to find one that doesn't look like a download scam .. I used to edit a lot a couple years ago.. & I purchased two video converters in the time that I made amvs.. & I remember them being relatively easy to find & not incredibly expensive.. I suggest ffmpeg, or piping mplayer raw yuv4mpeg output into x264. If you need processing done on your vobs though (IVTC, deinterlacing, cleanup...), you don't want a magic solution as it is incapable of fixing anything for you.
