Just finished Mass Effect. What a mind-blowing game. There were a lot of gameplay issues that really annoyed me, and it was a little easy (granted, I only played on the Normal difficulty setting), but it has probably the best storyline of any game I've ever played. I just finished three minutes ago and I already want to start again and play through on Hardcore.

But I gotta play Mass Effect 2 now.

Fortunately ME2 fixes a lot of the gameplay issues I had with ME1 (namely driving in the Mako and inventory). If you liked ME1, you'll love ME2. I (almost) guarantee it!

As I've noted many times in these forums, ME2 still remains the best game of 2010 for me and 2010 is nearly over!

Yeah, you should. Good and fun RPG. Although the Grandia game engine has always been fun.

Playing Monday Night Combat/Scott Pilgrim/SSF2 HD Remix

Monday Night Combat AWFULLY reminds me of TF2, its a great game nonetheless. It's up for 600 MSP on XBL right now and 13$ on Steam.

Scott Pilgrim is a lot harder than i expected, reminds me of Final Fight/Streets Of Rage. Which is always awesome :3

As much as I appreciate getting rid of all the tedium in ME1, I really enjoyed the RPG elements (i.e. skill points and inventory) that it had and sorely missed them in ME2. I still enjoyed the experience because I love Bioware's writing, but I don't prefer the GoW-ish gameplay for a second.

I bought King's Bounty the other day on Steam. It's very much a clone of the Heroes of Might & Magic combat system (a lot of the units even have similar functions), stuck inside a "run random quests around the map" MMO shell. Enjoyable, but the non-linearity makes for some ridiculous artificial difficulty spikes.

went from less than a dozen games before Christmas to 100 at last count thanks to the steam sale and my stupid ADD. I fully plan to beat every one, first is Septerra Core, like a late 90's pc rpg I had laying around the house. It's said to be a very hard rpg. little less than 10 hours in I see nothing hard about it. I AM a l33t RPG nerd though and ultimate strategist. No box can EVER foil my plans, I'd find my way out of all of 'em. Anyway it compairs nicely to present day ACTIVE battle systems like KOTOR, FF12 and so on. I really enjoy this game. The story's not as stupid as FF12 (so far) either. Graphics are piss poor, but what can you expect .
