Re: Anime Los Angeles 2011 AMV Contest
If the amv contest is at a reasonable time on Friday night (like 8-9pm), then maybe I can make it down after work since traffic dies down once I hit a certain part of the 405.Rider4Z wrote:MikalSaltveit wrote:

Well, there is a reshowing in the AMV room on Saturday at 4pm if you can make that. A poor substitute for the real contest, but I feel you. My status for next weekend is up in the air, I may have to stay here and help my office move to a new building.

Yeah, I plan on making the AMV 102 panel first, then staying for the entire contest reshowing. After that, I gotta try to meet an old friend at the end of the Video Games Voice Acting panel.Stryyder wrote:Well, there is a reshowing in the AMV room on Saturday at 4pm if you can make that. I've only been at my new job since the end of Sept and I can't earn paid vacation time till I've been there for a year. Plus I really need the $$$.

Re: Anime Los Angeles 2011 AMV Contest
Not every creator is able to make it to the contest, which is fine.
Also, ALA Staff can request blue tickets as well. I will guarantee every enterant a seat, but I cannot guarantee seats for your friends to sit next to you unless you let me know before Thursday.
An e-mail will be sent out on Monday at noon to remind all enterants to e-mail amv11@saltve.it to let me know how many seats they need.
