I'm mostly looking for a software that compares videos with smooth playback if possible. Preferably a side by side video comparison.
If none of this is possible, then a frame-by-frame video comparison (no video playback in this case) would probably have to do, if anyone can suggest one.
Are there any good Video Quality Comparison softwares?

Grrrrrr! .. what do you want to compare?
Frames Rates, Frame Sizes, how THIN the video picture
is for Cleanliness Issues on Playback of weaker computers,
pixil count, color count, frame duration ( as in 2nd pass timing ) ..
.. what your asking is incomplete .. Comparing, "What?"

hmm, maybe I should clarify this a bit. here's an example, you have two media players open playing two different video files. what I'm looking for is a single software that plays back two videos side-by-side as if it were two media players playing two video files. (for a visual idea, just imagine how Virtualdub looks like with its two video screens)

How about an AviSynth script with StackVertical() or StackHorizontal()?

.. I think your talking about AiST's Video Alignment Editors Viewer:
it allows you to have the 2 or 3 Video scene's right next to each other
so you can cut/join/seporate/blend/merge. It comes in really handy
when doing scene-change detection and manipulations. The Videos
can be before or after, cropped or cut .. if not, it will do that for you.
