Could you post a clip of the transport stream of the show, so I can see how does it look? Ah, and also your script, because it looks like you're overfiltering and maybe the problem is partically caused by that (unless it already was bad looking from the broadcast, Italia 1 HD is rather awful as a channel, generally the logo is the only HD thing...).

PS: If that helps, I can post in Italian, although your English seems to be decent enough for communication.

Italia1 HD non è in HD nativo, ma ovviamente upscalato
la sorgente non filtrata non è più a mia disposizione, ma quello che sò è che è stato usato uno sharp pesantemente.. e tutti i difetti della trasmissione sono stati amplificati

Oddio, essendo io italiano mi viene giustamente più semplice comunicare in italiano rispetto che in inglese, quindi dubito che avrò problemi. XD Più che altro è per il resto della community ma pazienza, male che vada se qualcuno chiede si può sempre tradurre poi.

Nel frattempo ho controllato lo spezzone che hai uppato. Effettivamente è oversharpato. Ma non è solo il tanto il problema, quanto il male... sembrerebbe anche che ci sia stato un qualche denoising aggressivo (sembra onestamente un deen...) visto che l'assenza di dettaglio non è dovuta all'upscale (e del resto, è in 1024x576, quindi SD). Tra l'altro mi sembra di notare un contrasto esagerato, ma da quello che ho visto potrebbe essere già una cosa di trasmissione (ovvero hanno aumentato il contrasto quelli di Mediaset).
Comunque l'unica cosa che mi viene in mente è che il problema sia del residuo di blocking, che però ormai non può più essere tolto con un deblocker... è capace che per cercare di toglierlo levi quel poco di dettaglio che resta. Mi sa che sei un po' ad un punto morto... :\

Provo a linkare ad altri più bravi di me a filtrare, magari riescono a pensare a qualcosa.
