Though you bring up a good point with Hellsing OVA. I did not know they were hour long episodes each (are they specifically 60 minutes each, or more like a TV series hour, which is more like 45 minutes). This might be another one of those exceptions-to-the-rule things. If they're 60 solid minutes each, I'd prefer it if people only used 2 episodes. That's roughly equivalent to a movie or 5 episodes of normal TV series. But again, it's just one of those weird slippery slope things where I don't want to have to police every single series out there that might have weird durations.

The episode time varies between episodes, with some being as long as a full hour and other topping out around 36 minutes. It's a very wonky series from a time perspective....
