Well, they aren't video tutorials...but we do have guides that cover a fair amount of amv-related material.

Probably either Video Editing Software or Special Effects.
I know there are stickies on the top of the vegas section and WMM section of Video Editing Software if you're looking for basic "how to make an amv with this software" stuff.

Hey, you know what I think we should have? A Tutorial Category on the org just like we do for Action, Drama, Instrumental etc...
Just a thought.

Re: WHY HAS NO ONE MADE A TUTORIAL SECTION YET?
.. I requested a separate Tutorial section be made back in 2000;
ErMaC said that it would go out-of-date too quickly with how rapid
the Windows Systems were changing versions. ( of course; no one
knew at the time that Windows XP was going to be around for seven
years back then!! )
Ogg, Mpg, Xvid, VFW, Real Media and .VIV T_T .. they were common back then.
.. and now;
MP4, MKv, H264, Mpeg-4 .. this doesn't seem like much; 4:3 to 16:9, it is -- quite a change!!
.. .. yup; ErMaC, Big Truck, Mex jr and 5star was correct: too many things changed
to make a usable Tutorial with Primiere 5.1
.. of course my next question never even got a responce:
"how about a few lessons on How-To-Edit for Dancing AMV's .. .."
it took 11 years of waiting but its finally here! The Video Tutorial of the Century!

Re: WHY HAS NO ONE MADE A TUTORIAL SECTION YET?
i dont think a tutorial section would go out of date, make it so the forum members post thier own links to tutorials and stuff so anything new that comes out. the people can help each other and anyone seeking a tutorial can post there and everyone else can help out by looking for what that other person is looking for. idk i still think it would be a good idea in my opinion, does no one else agree?

For one, yes, it would go out of date. Things are quite a bit more stable these days though than they were 10 years ago, so things might stand a change of being relevant for a bit longer now.
But the major problem is that for a tutorial section to be useful, there need to actually be, uh, some tutorials.
