Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Lyrical Crescendo (and that other vid...)
Ok, so I had so much free time last week, plus the long weekend, that I was pretty much editing as if it were my full-time job (not sure if that's a good thing). I think I'm supposed to reuse threads in this case, hope I did it right.
Anyways, here's the result:
And my video last week, which was more like a warm-up video

Re: Open Skies
if i remember correctly, this was one of the songs for Soul Caliber 2. So I was a little disappointed that this wasn't a parody of it. You edited your amv pretty good, but I think that the lack of characters in it made it repetitive after a while. I loved the beginning of it though.

Re: Open Skies
Well this was a very unique video.
You said it yourself that it would be a challenge keeping viewer interest, and I can see why... however the video is such a different experience than a typical AMV, that for a change, I found it nice to just go along with the vid and enjoy it.
Neat stuff
Also, it's good to see you editing again

Re: Open Skies
Thanks for the feedback =). Yeah its from Soul Calibur 2. Parody... are you referring to my anime soul calibur lol? I actually didn't even consider a parody with this song. As for the repetitiveness, yeah, thats probably what happens with only scenery.kireblue wrote:if i remember correctly, this was one of the songs for Soul Caliber 2. I prefer girls to birds!
More seriously : it sure is pretty well edited but it seems to long for what it is 'cause, finally, it's "empty".

Haha, yeah I wasn't sure if you were referring to that since it wasn't very good =pkireblue wrote:OMG. I never even saw that video before, but that's exactly what I was talking about.

Re: Open Skies
I stopped halfway through, put on some cheesey dramatic music and started out the window at the sky. Didn't make me like the video any better :<
