Anime North 2011 - Dedicated AMV Room!

HI all,

Although not part of the contest, but still tied to Anime Music Videos, new this year to Anime North will be the dedicated AMV Room.

The room will be running AMV related programming all weekend long and will include themed AMV blocks, panels and events such as AMV Mortal Combat, The AMV Gameshow, AMVs that inspired us to buy the Anime, Top 20 AMV Countdown, Beginners / Advanced panels and Super Happy AMV Time Go! 1.6

We also have a block set aside Saturday late morning / early afternoon called "AMV Creator’s Spotlight" This gives a chance for attending creators to show off some of their works and make some brief comments about them. Each slot in the block will be 15 to 20 minutes long (depending on how many creators respond). If you're interested in a time slot, PM me here on the forums or send a e-mail to vgp@telusplanet.net and we can send you more information on the slots available.

I am the local right hand man and I am very excited to host alot of these events for my long time hometown convention. I hope to see a bunch of people there and I think you'll all enjoy what we have in store!

I can't go anymore unless I can sleep in somebody else's hotel room. Being under 18 and unable to afford a room on my own, since Jadecavy can't go either now, I'm stuck.
