chroma keyer colorpicker wont work?

every time i try and select a color it picks the wrong one ill click on red and it always picks either black white or grey??? please help?

i dont know how to make a screenshot besides hitting prnt scrn and it doesnt show the mouse so this is what ive got...>.> it probably doesnt help much.

Well, for me it works, click the color picker, click the point anywhere on the screen you want to pick. Make sure it's the tip of the picker that clicks

Alternatively, you can enter 255 for Red and get pure red.

yea i figured out how to adjust it manually to get the right red but it just bugs me that the color picker wont work, i think something wrong with my version of vegas because sometimes ill pull up the top menus and all the font for the options will get super super tiny. ill give an example, in this screen shot im in warm vignette menu like to adjust it and the menu is super tiny and when i go to click on something its like my mouse clicks somewhere completely different...???

Now I notice you're using 9.0 clear - you might be able to upgrade the 9.0 version (iirc there's at least 9.0c, if not d), or even upgrade to 10.0d/e or downgrade to 8.0c - 9.0 is pretty known amongst Vegas community to be the most buggy out of the 8/9/10 trio. Seems Sony skipped fixing it and focused on 10 instead.
