AM2 announces their AMV Contest July 1, 2011
Categories:
(9 entries per category will be selected as finalists to be shown at the AMV Viewing. The winner of each category will be voted on by the attendees of the AMV Viewing and announced at.)
Action
Drama
Comedy
Additional Awards: (the winner will be selected from one of the finalists of the three categories)
Creators Choice (Voted on by the contestants)
Contest Rules
I. AMV Restrictions
AMV Length: Minimum 1 minute; 4 minutes maximum.
Content must be appropriate for all audiences.
No Intros/Outros. No text in the video that does not pertain to the video itself.
Accepted Formats:
Video: MPEG-4, MPEG-2, and h264
Audio: mp3, wav
Video Files ONLY. Files will be sent via link or FTP. Tape or Disk Media will NOT be accepted.
II. Submission Restrictions
Deadline for Submission June 17th
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE CONVENTION
Limit two entries per person.
You must be a Passport holder to compete.
III. How to Submit a Video

AMV Title
AMV Anime Source
AMV Music Source and Artist
Small Description
Link to Download your AMV
Thanks and see you there!
Categories:

It's free to attend but some of the events require badges (passports).
Not sure how many AMVs will be submitted if a passport must be purchased to attend the contest, in addition to happening the same weekend as AX

Okay, I was wondering lol. If we submitted it online how are they to know whether or not we have a passport -_-* thanks for clearing that up ^_^
