Theme Explanation
Welcome to the first round of Project OrgEditor! I happen to fancy that name, despite what others would say.
The namesake was chosen because the forum administration was kind enough to provide us with a subforum for our competition, and a lot of other neat support that we would have otherwise never gotten.
Besides, for most of us around here... animemusicvideos.org is our Home. Sweet. Home.
If you haven't already guessed, that's what this round's theme is!
Theme Execution CriteriaRound Framework wrote:For your first round of editing, you must create an AMV that promotes and advertises animemusicvideos.org. After all, if you're a Project OrgEditor champion, you should be more than able to make commercials or advertisements better than that which we see on television. Right?
Conversely, if you feel as though animemusicvideos.org isn't your "home sweet home" for AMV related greatness, you can create an advertisement/promotion for your AMV website of your own choosing [AMV specific Sites such as AMVFrance, AMVNews, OR your personal studio]. Nothing outside of the aforementioned exceptions will be permitted.
Each round, 30 points of your possible scores are awarded to the execution of the theme. What does this mean for this round?
Judges have been instructed to look for how well the editors "promoted" or "advertised" animemusicvideos.org [or whatever you chose as your "home sweet home"]. How creative were they in their advertising? Would watching this promotion or advertisement make them want to check out the website [for better or for worse]?
Elimination Numbers
For this round, 12 editors will be eliminated. Editors with the lowest 12 scores will be eliminated. In the event of a tie that would result in more than 12 editors being eliminated, we will have a backup judge determine the eliminated editor.
Should 12 or more editors drop in this round, we will adjust the number of eliminations.
Should less than 12 editors drop, we will only eliminate the number of competitors that make up the difference. [For example, if 5 editors dropped, we will only eliminate 7 editors]
